Sometimes love strikes you when you least expect it. For Shana Moody, it was two
weeks upon completing her summer internship when she met Jeff Breeden. Mutual
friends were trying their best to set up a meeting for Shana and Jeff. With a little
perseverance, they were able to arrange a meeting for the two. Once Shana and Jeff met,
they knew there was something there, and were eager to learn more about the other.
They spent the next day on the water, and found love as they watched the sun set over
the bay. A month later, Shana made arrangements to move back to Destin, Florida to
be closer to Jeff. They were engaged two years later.
The couple knew they wanted a wedding location that would be intimate, and allow
for a fun-filled weekend with friends and family. They fell in love with the beautiful town
hall of Rosemary Beach. Shana’s always dreamt of a white tent reception, and the
Western Lawn at Rosemary Beach made for the perfect spot.
As guests arrived for the weekend they were welcomed with baskets filled with
goodies, and a card which read, “Welcome to Our Wedding Weekend”. Shana and Jeff
made sure the week leading up to the wedding was a fun and relaxing get-a-way for
family and friends.
The ceremony was held at Rosemary’s Town Hall at Five O’clock on May 6, 2006. A
bagpiper greeted guests with a unique and inviting tune as they entered the building.
Grandmothers and parents were seated by the melody of a violinist. As the violinist
played Trumpet Voluntary, Shana entered in a stunning diamond white strapless gown
with taupe accents embroidered throughout. Satin covered buttons were taken from her
mothers wedding dress, and were sown down the back of Shana’s gown to add a
sentimental and special touch. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white lillies, which
were wrapped in ivory satin ribbon with pearl accents.
